The Mid Monty Coat is named after wartime commander Field Marshal Montgomery, who famously wore one during campaigns in North Africa and Europe, turning it into an icon. Soldiers affectionately began referring to it as the “Monty Duffle”. This coat carries a few hallmark features like wooden toggles, jute rope fastenings, and a fine wool blend with a cotton herringbone webbing interior.
