Bedrock started in 2011 with a simple idea from founders Dan Opalacz and Nick Pence: build comfortable, durable, well-fitting outdoor footwear. They first garnered buzz on Kickstarter, then attention from major names at the expo, Outdoor Retailer, and then REI. Fast forward to today, and Bedrock continues to make some of the best outdoor footwear—all from a tight-knit team in Missoula that still honors a lifetime repair guarantee. That level of community and craft is what led us to partner with the Montana-based brand. The Huckberry x Bedrock Mountain Clog reps a custom tan and brown colorway that’s inspired by high-desert grit and the sun-scorched Earth of the Western backcountry—channeling raw, dependable ruggedness of a well-worn trail into gear that looks just as good caked in dust as it does at the local watering hole. The Mountain Clog features an upper made of textured, hairy suede, while a custom Vibram outsole makes contact with the ground for reliable traction. Customizable straps around the heel and top of the foot ensure a secure fit, and a rubber toe cap offers additional protection from rocks and brush on the trail. We finished our collaborative pair with a debossed Huckberry tree logo on the top of the foot—our subtle nod to our two brands working together for the first time.
